Following the announcement of NHP’s partnership with local not-for-profit organisation, Southern Cross Kids' Camps (SCKC) earlier this year, NHP are delighted to continue their support through the sponsorship of the organisation’s annual fundraising event, Cycle 4 Change.

Cycle 4 Change is a four day cycling event running from 9-12 March, 2018 that will cover more than 490 kilometers, climbing 5,767 meters around central northern Tasmania.

In addition to raising vital funds that contribute to making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged kids, Cycle 4 Change also raises awareness of the work that SCKC do through their camps.

“Our fundraising goal of $50,000 will fully fund a week of positive experiences for 60 kids who come from violent or abusive households. In addition to NHP’s broader partnership with SCKC, their sponsorship of Cycle 4 Change will go a long way towards this goal and enable us to have a positive impact on the lives of kids in need,” said Peter Lusk, SCKC’s General Manager.

With a firm focus on supporting local industry as a locally owned and operated company, NHP’s partnership with SCKC is a natural fit providing a platform for similar support at a community level.

“As a company we’re delighted to be able to extend our support of SCKC through the sponsorship of Cycle 4 Change 2018. What makes it even more pleasing is that we have 10 staff members from across Australia who have volunteered to take part in the ride and further support the fundraising efforts,” said NHP’s Chief Marketing Officer, Geoff Thorp.

Cycle 4 Change will be based in Launceston and cycle to Beauty Point, Scottsdale, Ben Lomond and Pipers Brook.
