The Allen-Bradley GuardLink Technology is a series connection system of protection input devices commonly used in safety-related control systems. GuardLink combines safety information and diagnostics via the same cable, reducing wiring and installation time and cost.

No configuration required. Wiring achieved via standard M12 connector cables with a maximum of 32 safety input devices connected in series.
Connectivity
Linear, star, or DLR network connections via an In-cabinet IP40 DG relay with two GuardLink channels, with up to 32 devices per channel.
Ethernet Connectivity
Enhanced diagnostics through CIP Safety over EtherNet/IP with GuardLogix L3 and L8 controllers.
Indication
Two bright indicators for device and link communication status.
IP Rating
Enclosure rating of IP65 and IP67.
Safety
Safety rating of Cat 4, SIL 3 and PLe.
