The sixth edition of AS/NZS 3000:2018, known as the Wiring Rules, was released on June 2018 and as of 1 January 2019, the changes are mandatory in Australia (late 2019 in New Zealand).
The Wiring Rules apply to all premises and land used by electricity consumers, not just domestic installations, and covers both fundamental safety principles and installation practices.
